As a systemically oriented clinician, Tessa is attentive to the social and relational context of her clients. Tessa employs a non-pathologizing approach that validates your unique context while holding hope for the changes you want to implement in your life.

She is experienced in working with women and couples who are navigating life transitions of their 20s and 30s including stepping into adulthood, exploring identity and purpose, and building meaningful relationships. Tessa’s clients are often interested in breaking intergenerational patterns around gender roles, sexual attitudes, attachment styles, boundaries, and other dynamics.

Folks who work with Tessa often experience uncertainty about their relationships or their choices, feel unsatisfied in their work, or lack motivation or inspiration. Tessa is passionate about working with couples who wish to build trust and deepen their connection. Tessa is trained as a sex therapist and is equipped to support individuals and couples experiencing sexual concerns or dysfunction.

Tessa’s approach is informed by mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, attachment, and liberation psychology. Clients appreciate her warm, calming, and gentle presence. Tessa is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University’s Master of Family Therapy program. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Gottman Couples Therapy, Level 1.
